Scarpetta means to drag a piece of bread through the last bit of sauce at the finish of your meal in purchase to clear your plate. What an odd identify I thought for a venue that is so not “scarpetta”. Fairly possibly I could be judging a guide by its cover.
Scott Conant previously of L’Impero and Alto is at the helm of Scarpetta Fontainebleau Miami Seaside. This is undoubtedly not your traditional neighborhood Italian restaurant. There are no vinyl red and white checkerboard tablecloths to be found here no raffia swathed jugs of Chianti plunked down in the middle of the table no cans of tomato sauce olive oil and family members photos lining the partitions as homey-cometh ambiance. This stylish and trendy Italian restaurant capabilities splendid ocean views with a wrap-close to veranda delighting the romantic soul. The decor is ultra-fashionable and mod. This is exactly where gorgeous foods is produced. This is in which stunning foods is presented. This is in which the gorgeous go to try to eat. Would the beautiful truly “scarpetta”?
