If you enjoy wading through emerald green waters and strolling along sugar sand seashores then Navarre Seaside is the place for you. Navarre is located on Santa Rosa Island just off the panhandle of Florida a tiny east of Pensacola.
Thirty many years back Navarre was recognized as the place where most of the film Jaws 2 was filmed. As a tiny girl I remember several family holidays to this beautiful island – chasing sandpipers down sandy shores and entire body browsing in foam-crested waves. Again then the island’s main structures were a Holiday Inn hotel and a few scattered seaside homes. Nowadays there are couple of substantial-rise condominiums and hundreds of seashore houses all along the island. Navarre is still off the beaten route of the busier beach towns of Northwest Florida but this tends to make it even much more charming and loved ones-friendly.
Some of the things you can locate on the island are gift shops pet stores island apparel day-spas surfboard gear bicycle rentals custom present-baskets home furniture antiques and much more. There are also a developing variety of local retail stores with virtually any items and solutions.
