My trip to Tybee Island. On the way to Tybee Island that is often called Savannah Seashore I looked out on the beauty of the marsh with its ever modifying colors as the sun moves across the sky. The Savannah River parallels the road major o the island and it is a widespread web site to see large container ships shifting to and from the Port of Savannah.
Tybee Island is about fifteen miles because of east of our historic downtown. Of training course that is dependent on where you are downtown. But no issue exactly where you are it is just a short trip!
When I got to the island I passed Douglas’s Fish Artwork and took a proper on Butler Ave. A proper is the only way to turn except if you want to end up in the Atlantic! I drove down Butler to the stop light at 15th St. and turned left. Here you will discover a lot of public parking spaces and have near entry to the pier. Also you are near to the Tybee Island Marine Science Middle. This is a fantastic place for the whole family! Here (more…)
